This insurance covers the gaps that may be left by other insurance products. With the first-ever diagnosis of a covered illness, you receive a check for the benefit amount. The benefit is paid whether or not you are able to work. This money will buy you choices and provide the cushion you'll need to replace your income while you recover, and your spouse's income while taking care of you. It may also open the door for medical care choices and options to change the way you make a living. |

When you are diagnosed with a critical illness like cancer, a stroke, or a heart attack - your focus needs to be on your physical survival - not your financial survival. Being diagnosed with a critical illness can generate costs far beyond medical expense costs that are often not covered by traditional insurance.
Consider a recent survey conducted by Harvard University* studying Bankruptcies in the United States: 50% of all bankruptcies are medically related and over 75% of those studied had adequate health insurance protection.
